page 3"Death of Dr. Holyoke"
Dr. R. A. Holyoke, a former well-known physician of Pacific Junction, of late located at Lincoln, Neb. was found dead in his room at the Windsor-Clifton hotel at Chicago Sunday night. His death is believed to have been caused by poisoning and the police are investigating a theory that he took an over dose of medicine.
Dr. Holyoke went to Lincoln fifteen years ago and entered the practice of medicine with his brother. He was forty-five years old at the time of his death and married. He is survived by a divorced wife and daughter Catherine Holyoke, who is sixteen years of age, and a brother Dr. E. L. Holyoke, who was a partner in the medical profession. The deceased has been ailing for some time and about a month ago went to Chicago to be given special treatment for his malady.
