Andrew Schappel, an old resident of Glenwood, died at his home in that city at 9 o'clock this morning of infirmities incident to old age. Mention of his breaking down was made in the Tribune last Thursday and he continued from that time to grow gradually weaker until the end. He suffered little if any pain and was conscious nearly to the last. He would have been 90 years old had he lived until the 7th of next December. A more extended notice of his life will be given in the next issue of The Tribune. Funeral at house 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 21.
