Mills County Tribune
June 14, 1910Death on Friday night ended the sufferings of Mrs. Fred Eichelberger. An account of the terrible accident which befell her appeared in last Tuesday’s paper. On the Monday night previous to her death her clothing was ignited by a match which she threw to the floor just after lighting a gasoline stove at her home three miles northwest of Malvern. Her body was fearfully burned, and the physicians at once saw that her death was only a question of hours. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon from the Malvern Christian church, and was conducted by Rev. J.E. Wilkins. The case is a very sad one. The young husband and parents of the unfortunate woman have the sympathy of friends. A babe, 16 months old, is left motherless.
