GRAVESIDE RITES HERE SATURDAY FOR EUGENE AUTH
Relatives in the Malvern vicinity were notified Tuesday of the death of Eugene Auth, 49, which occurred the preceding night in his home in Deerfield, Illinois. Mr. Auth, who apparently had been in excellent health, suffered a heart attack just as he retired for the night and died almost immediately.
He is survived by Mrs. Auth, the former Mildred Breeding of Malvern, and their three sons.
Services will be held Friday in Willamette and the body will be brought to Malvern for burial where graveside rites will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Ben Breeding and Garold Breeding of Council Bluffs went to Willamette Wednesday for the services.

COMMITTAL RITES HERE SATURDAY FOR GENE AUTH
Committal rites for Eugene Auth, 49, were held at the Malvern Cemetery, Saturday morning when the body was brought here from his home in Deerfield, Illinois. His death has occurred December 17, following a heart attack.
The services were conducted by the Rev. John L. Beebout with Mansfield's in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by Mrs. Auth, the former Mildred Breeding of Malvern, their three sons, Ronald, Dennis, and David; a brother Harry and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Wallace of Springfield, Illinois.
There were all at the committal service except one son, Dennis, who is in the army and the brother. Others from a distance attending the service were Arthur Essman, general manager of the C. R. & Q. Railway and Howard Palmer, office manager of the General Railway Signal Corp. by which company Mr. Auth was employed.

An interesting incident of the committal rites for Eugene Auth here Saturday was that his family was furnished the private railway car, a luxurious conveyance had sleeping accommodations for six and other conveniences, so made a most suitable help for the occasion. Mr. Auth's work kept him associated with the heads of many of the nation's top railroads and he enjoyed their friendship and confidence to an unusual degree.

Services for Eugene Frank Auth, 49, of 695 Timber Trail, Deerfield, who died Monday in his home will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Chapel at 1100 Greenleaf Avenue, Willamette. For the last 11 years he had been western manager for the General Railway Signal Company. He leaves his widow, Mildred, three sons, Ronald, Dennis, and David; a brother and a sister.

EUGENE F. AUTH, 59, FORMER RESIDENT, DIES
Eugene F. Auth, 59, formerly of Decatur, died Wednesday in Deerfield, Illinois. Funeral services were held yesterday. Burial will be in Malvern, Iowa.
Mr. Auth was president of the Decatur High School senior class of 1925 and attended Milliken University for one year.
He had been active in railroading most of his life, starting with the Wabash Railroad in Decatur in 1923.
He worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1927 to 1944. He was named sales engineer of the Railroad accessories Corp in Chicago in charge of the Midwest territory.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred, three sons, Ronald, Dennis, and David; sister, Mrs. Glenn Wallace of Springfield, Illinois and brother, Harry A. Auth of Pasadena, California.
