Malvern Leader
Thursday, May 30, 1895
Malvern, Iowa

Mr. L.D. Prindle, who for many years has been a resident of Mills county, died Monday afternoon in this city. Mr. Prindle's home was north of West Liberty but as he was constantly suffering from stomach trouble he took rooms in the Glenwood house in order that he might have the benefit of more constant medical care. Although his health had long been very poor his death was entirely unexpected to this community. He leaves four children, his aged wife having died but a few months ago. Mr. Prindle owned a large amount of real estate in Mills county and had long been esteemed a thrifty and prosperous citizen.
