CURTIS RYAN STEINER
Funeral services for Curtis R. Steiner, 51, North Ridge, California, former resident of Wales Community, were held Friday, August 4, at 2 p.m. at Sellergren-Lindell Funeral Home with the Rev. Delbert Terry officiating.
Mr. Steiner died Monday, July 31, 1972, at Los Angeles. His sister, Mary preceded him in death.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Steiner, he was born in Red Oak, March 17, 1921, and was a graduate of Wales-Lincoln Consolidated High School. He was a member of the Methodist Church and lived in Red Oak, until entering the military service in World War II with the Flying Tigers in Burma. For the past 25 years, he had been a pilot with the Flying Tigers Airline in California.
He was married in 1950 to Mable Coates, who survives.
Also surviving are his parents of Glenwood, a sister, Mrs. Carl Ellermeir of Wayne, Nebraska.
Casket bearers were Byron Viner, Vernon Viner, Gordon Steiner, Robert Vance, Duane Ellermeir, and Dennis Ellermeir. Interment was in the Emerson Cemetery.
