James T. Taylor died at his home in Egypt Sunday morning of last week and was buried in the Waubonsie cemetery Monday, Rev. Bowles of the Friends church officiating. Mr. Taylor died in a fit which those conversant with the circumstances seem to think was epileptic in character. He has been gradually losing his mind for some time and for several days before his death he labored under strange hallucinations, one being that all the people he met were making faces at him. His mental disintegration set in some after his lawsuit with the Mack Hale estate over the ownership of a disputed 40 acres of land and it is thought that this litigation combined with other causes ultimately occasioned his death.

Wife: Malinda Foster Taylor
