Henry P. Crawford, a former well known citizen of Emerson and a father of Mr. W. M. Crawford of that place died at Creston last Friday and his body was brought to Emerson for interment last Saturday afternoon on No. 3.

Mr. Crawford's wife is a sister of F. J. Taylor, the famous showman. He has been gone from Emerson almost fourteen years and was sixty years of age at the time of his death.
