Funeral services were held at St. Patrick’s Catholic church Saturday morning at 9 o'clock for Henry Skahill, a former resident. Rev. F. W. Doyle officiated.

Henry Skahill was born on a farm near Imogene on April 13, 1895 and died May 21 following a stroke of paralysis. He had been in poor health for several years. While here he was engaged in farming. Several years ago he went to Omaha and served on the police force for many years., and members of the police force accompanied the body here for burial.

He is survived by his wife, four children, one brother, Tommie Skahill of Imogene, and two sisters Mrs. Hary Good of Shenandoah and Mrs. Clem Maher of Sidney.

Pall bearers were Pete Dempsey, Leo and Tony Hughes, John McGinnis and Art Leahy. Rev. F.W. Doyle officiated. Burial was in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
