FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD FRIDAY FOR MRS. F. WRIGHT

Mrs. Fay Wright Passed Away at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs Tuesday Afternoon - Had Suffered Many Months

Funeral services for Mrs. Fay Wright were held from the family home in this city, Friday afternoon with Rev. J.F. Stille officiating. Music for the service consisted of two vocal numbers by Mrs. June Fickel accompanied by Mrs. Clyde Genung on the piano. The floral tributes were beautiful and bespoked the love and esteem in which Mrs. Wright was held by a wide circle of friends. The pallbearers were Chris Wriedt, Mahlon Boyer, L.C. Adams, Clyde Genung, Carl Morgan and L.S. Robinson. The body was laid to rest on the family lot in the Glenwood cemetery.

Etta Estes was born March 10, 1874 on a farm south of Glenwood, and departed this life December 24, 1929 at the Mercy hospital in Council Bluffs.

Thirty-seven years ago November 21st, last, she was united in marriage to Fay Wright, and to them were born four children, three girls and one boy. Those living are Mrs. J.C. Throckmorton and John Wm. Wright, of Glenwood and Mrs. John Crookham, of Oskaloosa, Iowa. Geneveve a daughter, preceded her in death.

She also leaves to mourn ten grandchildren; three brothers, Dick Estes, of Kansas City; Sam Estes, of Glenwood and Wm. Estes, of Pacific Junction; one sister, Margaret Estes, of Glenwood.

Mrs. Wright was a patient sufferer for many months and fought valiantly that she might live and stay with her loved ones, but regardless of her desire and all that loving hands and medical skill could do, her Heavenly Father, who knows, and does all things well called her to her reward, where in the land of endless days she may rest from her labors.
