Clarence LeRoy Blackman

Malvern-Funeral services were held Thursday at the Hillside Methodist church for Clarence LeRoy Blackman, 59, who died Monday of heart disease. The Rev. Nobel B. Blackman was in charge. Burial was in Malvern cemetery.

Blackman was born in Blandensville, Il. He came to Iowa at the age of three. He lived near Malvern, except for five years, until his death.

Survivors are five sons, Harold Blackman, Floyd Blackman, Wayne Blackman and Everette Blackman, all of Malvern, and Donald Blackman of Tabor; one daughter, Mrs. Edna Powles of Pacific Junction; five brothers, George Blackman of Red Oak, Charles Blackman of Tabor, Wesley Blackman of Shenandoah, David Blackman of Omaha, and Walter Blackman of Glenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Roberts of Shenandoah and Mrs. Doris Morse of Emerson; and nine grandchildren.
