The following life sketch was read:

William F. Irvin, son of James B. and Elizabeth Irvin, was born September 23, 1879 at Miami, Missouri, and passed away Tuesday, March 29, 1960 at the Horton Rest Home, aged 80 years, six months and six days.

He was united in marriage to Frances Ruth Kemper July 15, 1909, coming in 1911 to Iowa. To this union were born three children: George of Malvern, Mrs. Calvin Dilts of Sidney and William of Nebraska City.

This family was brought up on farms in Mills and Fremont counties. He moved from his last farm home when 70 years of age, having rented but three farms in over 50 years. His family held the central place in his life and heart, for he was a loving husband and father.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, three children, seven grandchildren, two brothers, U. J. of Strahan and Earnest and one sister, Miss Dewey Irvin, both of Malvern. Three sisters preceded him in death.

A host of relatives, former neighbors and friends mourn his passing.

Interment was made in the Malvern Cemetery.
