Jim Picker, 64, of Glenwood died September 28, 2000 at his home. Funeral services were October 2, 2000 at Peterson Mortuary with burial in the Malvern Cemetery. Pastor Lynn Zimmerman officiated the services.

Mr. Picker was the son of Frederick William and Ruth Elizabeth (Johnson) Picker, born February 24, 1936 in Anderson, Ind. He was married to Judy Ann Pinkerton on August 27, 1966 in Glenwood. He lived all of his life in Mills County. He was a blacksmith and a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father; and sister.

Survivors include his wife; son, Kenton and wife Lisa Picker of Glenwood; daughter, Kendra and husband Matt Biermann of Silver City; mother; and granddaughter, Sydney Faye Biermann of Silver City.

Memorials are suggested to the Glenwood Public Library, American Heart Association or the American Lung Association.
