Funeral services for Frank Turner, 95, of Pacific Junction were held September 12 at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. The Rev. Nina Pulatie officiated, with burial in Martin Chapel Cemetery in Pacific Junction.
Mr. Turner passed away Septemer 9, 1990, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs.
He was born Septemer 30, 1894, in Ava, Mo., the son of Jess and Lizzie Turner. He married Delta Florence Frye on Feburary 20, 1918.
Frank was an employee of the CB & Q Railroad, and previously lived in Atlantic before moving to Pacific Junciton in 1936.
He was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter, Oveta Black.
Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Turner of Fullerton, Cal., and Otis A. Turner Sr. of Pacific Junction; two daughters, Ruby Monroe of Elkhorn, Neb., and Elma Zito of Millard, Neb.; one sister, Elta Burton of Goshen, Cal.; 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Ardis Dusenberry was the organist at the funeral service. Pallbearers were Frank Fisher, Joe Fisher, Ed Janssen, Hobie Rupe, Gary Richardson and Oscar Good. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Harris and Leonard Fisher.
