Reverend Hall, Silver City Methodist Minister, Dies

Silver City community was saddened by the death of Reverend George Hall, 62, pastor of the Silver City Methodist church. He had been in failing health and was taken some ten days ago to the Jennie Edmundson hospital in Council Bluffs, where he passed away at 10:30 o’clock Tuesday evening. The body was removed to the Raynor Funeral home in Glenwood.

Reverend Hall, was also supplied for the East Liberty church, had been in the active ministry 31 years. He is survived by his wife and four sons, Donald of Des Moines; Merrill of Jefferson; Kenneth of Ames, and Clarence of Omaha.

Funeral services will be held in the Silver City Methodist church at 10:30 o’clock Saturday morning, after which the body will be taken to Indianola, where services will be held that afternoon and burial will be made in the cemetery there.
