Services were last Wednesday at Iowa Veterans Home Chapel in Marshalltown for Martha "Betty" Noah, 67, a longtime Glenwood resident. She died Feb. 11 following an extended period of failing health.

Mrs. Noah was born in Omaha and lived in Glenwood until moving to the Veterans Home in 1974. She served as a WAC during World War II and married Paul Noah in 1945. Her husband preceded her in death in 1968.

Graveside services were Thursday at Glenwood Cemetery. Glenwood Legionnaires folded and presented the flag during the service. The Purcel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown was in charge of arrangements with Raynor Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
