JoAnn M. Cheyney, 54, Glenwood

Funeral services for JoAnn Marie Cheyney, 54, of Glenwood were held Monday, March 28, at Raynor Funeral Home in Glenwood, with graveside services Tuesday, March 29, at Glenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Douglas Anderson of Grace United Methodist Church officiated.

Miss Cheyney passed away March 26 at her Hillside Manor residence following an extended period of failing health.

She was born in Pacific Junction in 1932, the daughter of John R. Cheyney and Erma Raine Cheyney. JoAnn never married, and was retarded since birth.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1970.

Survivors include her mother, Erma Cheyney of Glenwood.

Ruth Picker was the organist at the funeral service, while one of JoAnn’s nephews, Bob Raine, was the soloist.
