Nephew of L. E. Edwards Killed in Bluffs Sunday

Hubert Edwards, 19, son of Mr. & Mrs. Edwards of Council Bluffs and nephew of L. E. Edwards of this city, met a tragic death Sunday afternoon when his foot became fast in the Northwestern track along which he was walking near Big Lake and unable to extricate himself, he was run down by a train. Young Edwards who was stationed at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station was home on a Mothers Day furlough. He had enlisted in the Navy about a year and a half ago. He is survived by his parents and two brothers and one sister.
