Ralph L. Storey, 86, died Sunday at a local hospital after a short illness.

Storey, of 115 Sioux, farmed in Glenwood before moving to Council Bluffs. He retired in 1975 from the Chicago Lumber Co. in Omaha after 27 years as a glass glazer.

Surviving are his wife, Charlotte; four sons, Artie of Missouri Valley, Leonard of Gretna, Neb., Ralph of Sidney and William of Coucil Bluffs; two daughters, Rose Profeda of Council Bluffs and Pauline Bryson of Red Feather Lakes, Colo.; 17 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Meyer Funeral Home. Donald Bryson of Thornton, Colo., grandson and Michael Bryson of Lee's Summit, Mo., brother, both elders of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, will officiate.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the heart association. The family will receive friends Tuesday between 7 and 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
