Funeral services were held in the Glenwood Funeral Home Thursday afternoon for W.M. Davidson, whose body was brought here from Bakersfield, California, arriving Wednesday morning, accompanied by his wife and two daughters. The service was conducted by Dr. Frederick W. Long, pastor of the Glenwood Congregational Church. Music for he service consisted of two vocal selections, "I Have Done My Work" and "The Rugged Cross," rendered by Jesse Steele, accompanied by Mrs. Steele. Those who served as pallbearers were Jay Leeka, Jesse Steele, Ed Harrington, J. W. Walling, Frank Willey and Lester Hunt. The body was laid to rest in the Glenwood cemetery.
William Mark Davison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen J. Davidson, was born March 10, 1885 near Tabor and grew to young manhood in this county. He graduated from the Glenwood High School.
On September 9, 1909, he was married to Alice Siepelt at Minneapolis, Minnesota.
They established their home in California, where he resided until his death. She and their two daughters, Dorothy and Eleanor, survive him. His father passed away Decemer 11, 1937. His mother, who now resides in Omaha; four sisters, Stella Colville of Independence, Missouri, Clara Peterson of Perry, Iowa, Hazel Kotyza of Omaha and Iva Harper of Emleuton, Pennsylvaia and two brothers, Chase of Minco, Oklahoma and Myron of Kansas City, Missouri, also survive him.
