Funeral services for W. E. Boyd, 82, were held Tuesday at the Reeves funeral home. The Rev. Peter Jacobs of Shenandoah, former pastor of the Congregational church here, was in charge. Burial was in the Fairview cemetery.

Boyd moved to Tabor in 1908. In 1916 the family moved to Laurel, Mont., later to Omaha, and in 1941 to Tabor. Mr. Boyd's chief interest was in farming and especially in cattle feeding.

Mr. Boyd had been in poor health for about four years and had been bedfast for six weeks. His death occurred Monday.

His is survived by his widow, Emma; five children, Mrs. Fern Young of Elmonte, Calif.; Mrs. Grace Morgan of Vancouver, Wash.; Fred of Forsyth, Mont.; Ira of Laurel, Mont.; Lisle of Silesia, Mont.; four gradsons; four granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
