"Neighbors Help Krumm; Pick Corn"
Friends from the St. Johns Lutheran church and several neighbors came to the LeRoy Krumm farm last Thursday with pickers, wagons and food and finished picking his corn.

LeRoy had been suffering from an infection in his hand.

Furnishing pickers were Everett Knop, Alfred and Lester Knop, Martin Seipold, Albert Meyer, Bruno Leu and Hiram Cool.

Furnishing tractors, wagons, and other equipment were Louis Leu, Marion Smith, Ed Meadows, Bevis Sowers, Walter Knop, Marvin and Pard Pontow, Otto Menschel, Oroville Leu, Arlo Jones, and Bill Krumm, and also Bevis Sowers and Dale DeBolt, men.

Women who brought food and assisted with the bountiful noon meal were Mrs. Louis Leu, Mrs. Albert Meyer, Mrs. Martin Seipold, Lucille Ord, Mrs. Walter Knop, Mrs. Donald Godfrey, Mrs. Marion Smith, Doris Leu, Mrs. Everett Knop, Mrs. Arlo Jones and Mrs. Otto Leu.

Coffee for the noon meal and afternoon lunch was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Hall of the Hi-Bank Store.
