September 6, 1900A DOZEN DIVORCE CASES!
This is the number to be tried in the September Term of Court.
Eight unfortunate females are knocking at the door of the present term of the district court in Mills County for relief from the bonds of matrimony which they have found by bitter practical experience to be burdensome. These women are the plaintiffs in the following divorce suits filed for trial in the September court: Lucille Boydston vs Edgar Boydstone, Fannie A. Reed vs W.W. Reed, Minnie Brewer vs James Brewer, Mary E. Hubbell vs Edwin Hubbell, Lorena Triplett, vs Thos. Triplett, Rose Masengale vs Albert Masengale, Laura Pease vs Albert Pease and Nellie Benson vs George Benson. In addition to these eight suits where the plaintiffs are the wives, there are three other divorce cases pending where the husbands are the plaintiffs; these are the DeMoss, Cook and Anderson cases. And there is still another that is yet to come which will make an even dozen in all.
