Clerk Davis was made to smile once more yesterday by the appearance of a young man from Hillsdale requesting a marriage license. It had been over three weeks since one had been issued and he had become skeptical of the poet's assertion, "In the spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love."

The license was issued to Art Daughtery and Miss Josephine Muldowney. The wedding takes place this week at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Allie Muldowney. The couple will leave next week for Colorado where they will live. The young man is a son of Jos Daugherty.
