3 January 1884Barnes - Masener -- At the residence of the bride's parents, in Deer Creek township, December 26, 1883, Elder Graham officiating, Mr. J. W. Barnes and Miss Annie Masener.
The groom is a son of W. R. Barnes, Esq., and is one of the most upright and deserving young men of Deer Creek township. The young lady he has chosen for a life companion is in every way qualified to make her liege lord happy, and as the years roll on THE LEADER hopes they will fully realize the triteness of that old song, "There's no place like home." The cake accompanying this notice was devoured with appropriate appreciation. Thanks.
