22 June 1906Roy G. Jones of Shenandoah and Miss Mamie R. Dalton were married in Glenwood Thursday at 3:30 o'clock, the ceremony taking place at the home of the latter's sister, Mrs. W. H. Byers. Miss Dalton has been a popular teacher in the Emerson schools the past two years. The couple will be at home in Shenandoah after July 1, where the groom is employed at the knitting mills.
About 30 gueats were present at the ceremony which was performed by Rev. Taylor of the Emerson Baptist church.
