MRS. HATTIE OLDS, of Des Moines, whose husband, a bigamist, left her a year ago, with children to support, attempted suicide the other day by leaping from the Valley Railroad Bridge, thirty feet, into the Des Moines River. The act was seen and the woman rescued. Hard times are supposed to be the cause.
