Harriet Cherry was born on 14 May 1876 in Harlan, Shelby County, Iowa. She died on 01 Dec 1975 in La Junta, Otero County, Colorado.

She married Walter Luther Jones, son of Edward Tully Jones and Helen Almira Wolcott on 28 Jan 1903 in Georgetown, Clear Creek County, Colorado. He was born on 30 Mar 1878 in Black Hawk, Gilpin County, Colorado. He died on 05 Dec 1956 in La Junta, Otero County, Colorado.

Harriet worked at the Clarinda Hospital For The Insane, Clarinda, Page County, Iowa around 1895. In the 1900 Census Harriet is living in Glenwood, Mills County, Iowa. At that time, circa 1898, she was employed as a Domestic at the Iowa Institution for Feeble Minded Children.
