FORMER SEXTON DEAD.

N. R. Larson Formerly of This City, Passes Away at Cedar Rapids.

Niels R. Larson, sexton of Riverside cemetery in this city a number of years ago, died Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. O. H. Adams, at Cedar Rapids, at the age of 69 years. The funeral was held from the Adams home at 1 o'clock this afternoon and the body will be brought to this city at 5:45 this evening, burial being direct from the train, in Riverside.

Mr. Larson was born in Viele, Denmark, where he resided until he reached manhood. He came to America in 1870 and located in this city. He was later engaged as sexton at Riverside, a position he held for some time. Mrs. Larson died about ten years ago, and five years ago Mr. Larson went to Cedar Rapids to live with his daughter, Mrs. Adams, who was formerly known in this city as Miss Tena Larson.

Mr. Larson has bur one relative in this country, his daughter, who will accompany his body to this city.
