ARTHUR MOORE DEAD

Former Marshalltown Man Dies in New York City

A telegram received by Harry Gerhart Tuesday night brought the death of Arthur Moore, Mrs. Gerhart’s uncle, and a brother of Mrs. W. F. Treadwell, of Fairbank. Mr. Moore died in New York City, but the cause was not given in the telegram. Mr. Moore had been in Mexico, where he was interested in the land business, and had but recently returned to New York City.

The body is to be brought to the city for burial, reaching here Friday morning, accompanied by a brother, James E. Moore, of New York City. The body will be taken from the train to Riverside, where short services will be held at the grave.

Mr. Moore was a former Marshalltown man, having resided her many years ago. He was about 60 years of age. His wife, who is dead, was, before her marriage, Miss Ella Utz, a sister of A. L. and T. N. Utz, formerly of this city.

In addition to Mrs. Treadwell and James, Mr. Moore is survived by one sister, Mrs. Edith Dawson, of Parker, S. Dakota, and his mother who makes her home with Mrs. Treadwell, in Fairbanks.
