YOUNG MOTHER DIES

Mrs. Cora Harter Anson White Plague Victim at State Sanatorium

Death this morning claimed a young mother and an only daughter when Mrs. Cora Harter Anson, aged 24, wife of Lawrence T. Anson, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samual Harter, 207 West Railroad street, died at the state sanatorium at Oakdale of pulmonary tuberculosis. Mrs. Anson was taken to the sanatorium three weeks ago Friday. She had been suffering from the disease almost two years, and last fall went to Gering, Neb., in the hope of obtaining benefit by a change of climate. There she suffered an attack of grip, and returned home late in November. Mrs. Anson was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Harter, and was born in Nevada Jan. 3, 1893. Her parents moved to this city when their daughter was 4 years old, and Mrs. Anson had spent practically her entire life here, with the exception of two years since her marriage, when she lived at Marietta. Her marriage to Mr. Anson took place May 18, 1911. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Anson is survived by two small children, Ronald Harter, aged 4, and Maxine Katherine, 2 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Harter left for Oakdale Sunday morning when they learned that their daughter was not expected to live, and expect to reach home with the body tonight.
