O誰EAL RITES SET SATURDAY AT LEGEND

Services for Mrs. Kittie Maria O誰eal, 78, former LeGrand resident who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Hazel O誰eal, in Des Moines will be at the LeGrand Friends church at 2 p.m. Saturday in charge of the Rev. Lewis D. Savage. BURIAL WILL be in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the Estel funeral home until 9 a.m. Saturday. Mrs. O誰eal was the widow of the late Corwin O誰eal who for 30 years was the publisher of the LeGrand Reporter. She was born Kittie Maria DeLong, April 16, 1872 near Montour, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. DeLong. Mrs. O誰eal spent her life in Marshall and Tama counties until she went to Des Moines to make her home with her daughter in 1948. Jan. 1, 1898 she married Corwin O誰eal who died Feb. 13, 1948. Surviving are three sons and two daughters, Hugh O誰eal of Kokomo, Ind., Charles of Visto, Calif., Earl of Naperville, Ill., Mrs. Karl Benson of Falls Church, Va., and Hazel O誰eal of Des Moines. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A brother, Dr. C. A. DeLong of Gary, Ind., and a sister, Mrs. C. S. Dunkle, Gilman, also survive. Mrs. O誰eal was a graduate of Grinnell college and a member of the Friends church at LeGrand.
