MRS. ST. JOHN IS DEAD AT 92;
Rites Thursday

CONRAD--(Special)--Mrs. Olive A. St. John, 92, a Central Iowa resident since 1896, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday at a nursing home in Eldora. Mrs. St. John, who was known as a writer of verse, had lived in Conrad with a daughter, Mrs. Bess Reece, until her health failed. She was born Olive Cody at Morris, Ill., Oct. 31, 1859 and was married there to George A. St. John Dec. 24, 1878. They moved to the Liscomb area in 1896. Surviving besides Mrs. Reece are two sons, Clarence, Horner, N. Y., and Earl, Lorton, Va.; another daughter, Mrs. Claude LeFever, Cortland, N. Y.; 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Conrad Methodist Church with burial at Liscomb.
