Ronald K. Barth, 76, of Marshalltown, died Monday afternoon, March 4.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 7, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown with visitation being held from 5 to 80 p.m. on Wednesday.

Left to cherish his memory are Charlene, his loving wife of 59 years; his son, Steve (Kathy) Barth of Ankeny; daughter, Ranae (Don) Myers of Sandpoint, Idaho; six grandchildren, Stacey Medellin, Shannon (Tim) Mettleman, Joe Maddox, Kayla Colyer, Jeff Myers, and Karlee Barth; two great-granddaughters, Molly and Susanna; his sisters, Verlene (Floyd) Senne of Allison, IA, Diane Osier of Greene, IA and brother, John (Carol) Barth of Greene.

Ron was born in Greene, to Verle and Thelma Barth, and was a 1954 graduate of Greene High School.
