SCHULER RITES TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY

State Center — (Special) — Funeral services for Wilbert C. Schuler, whose body was found hanging in a shed on his farm northeast of here Thursday, will be held at 1:30 p. m. Saturday at the Wensel undertaking establishment in charge of Rev. William J. F. Zabel, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery. Mr. Schuler was born March 15, 1897, at State Center, a son of William and Carrie Schuler, and spent all of his life near here. He was confirmed in St. Paul's Lutheran church in 1910 and married Miss Amelia Hennis at French Grove, Aug. 23, 1917. He had farmed near State Center for 23 years. Besides his widow he is survived by seven children, Helen, who is employed in Marshalltown, Evelyn, Elaine, Raymond, Howard, Kenneth and Gary, all at home: three brothers, Arnold of Colo and Clarence and William of State Center; four sisters, Mrs. Harry Greiner of Colo, Mrs. George Buck, Mrs. Kenneth Loney and Miss Mildred Schuler. all of State Center, and his mother, Mrs. William Schuler of State Center.
