A. L. Hilsabeck Service Tuesday

Services for Adelbert Leslie Hilsabeck, 76, longtime Marshall County resident who died at the Shady Lawn Rest Home Saturday, will be from the Estel-Perrin Funeral Home at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday in charge of the Rev. Paul Elliott of Ackley. Burial will be in Timber Creek Cemetery.
Born September 7, 1880, in Marshall County he was the son of Isaac and Cora E. Howe Hilsabeck.
On February 27, 1907, he was married to Myrtle Keese, who preceded him in death on July 6, 1925. Five children were born to that union, two of whom died in infancy. He was married to Inez M. Abbey on July 31, 1928 and seven children were born to them.
Surviving besides the widow are six daughters, Mrs. Arthur Snider, Moorhead, Minnesota; Mrs. Andrew Butler, Shreveport, Louisiana; Mrs. Leroy Frey, Ackley; SGT Shirley I. Keller, Newark, New Jersey; and Marilyn and Charlene Hilsabeck, Marshalltown, and four sons. C. P. O. Merle Hilsabeck, Gorton, Connecticut; Verle Hilsabeck, Toledo, and James and Larry Hilsabeck, Marshalltown.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Morris Biddle, Westfir, Oregon, and Mrs. Neil Binkley, Marshalltown.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Jesse William and Mrs. Enona Berry, and the two children.
