MRS. NELSON DIES; RITES SET AT UNION

UNION --- (Special) --- Mrs. Anna Pearl Nelson, 83, of Union died Sunday at Westwood Nursing Home in Marshalltown. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Union Community Church in charge of the Biersborn Funeral Home, and burial will be at Liscomb. The Revs. Lloyd McDonald and Preston Hinderks will officiate. She was born at State Center June 24, 1892, to David and Virginia Wilson Ewalt, and was reared in Marshall County. Surviving are two children by her marriage to Elam Adams, Mrs. Chris (Gertrude) Fricke, Route 3, Marshalltown, and Kenneth Adams, Liscomb. Later she was married to David C. Norman and to Ivan Nelson, who died in 1975. A Liscomb resident for 36 years, she moved to Union in 1942 and to Westwood a few months ago. Besides her children, she is survived by seven grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren as well as a half sister, Mrs. George (Viola) Yenney, Mount Carroll, Ill. A sister, two brothers, five half sisters and four half brothers preceded her in death.
