Services for Millard Ross Ellison, 65, of Steamboat Rock, who died Monday [August 11, 1975] at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, will be at 2 p.m. at the Andrie-Creps Funeral Home in Eldora. Burial will be in Jackson Township Cemetery near Owasa.

Mr. Ellison was born at Albia Dec. 13, 1909 to Ross and Grace Lamb Ellison, and attended schools at Eagle City and Steamboat Rock. He served in Co. L of the 27th Infantry from December, 1942 to October, 1945 and farmed in Missouri for several years. He was a member of Steamboat Rock Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Betty Ellison and Mrs. Pauline Swartz of Kansas City and Debbie Ellison of Decorah; two sisters, Mrs. John (Thelma) Warren of Waterloo and Mrs. A.E. (Pearlie) Eygabroad of Marshalltown; two brothers, Miles Ellison of Parsons, Kan., and Melvin of Sayler, Calif., and four grandchildren.
