Mrs. James Finders, Old Resident, Victim of Cancer

Mrs. Suzanne E. Finders, age 75, wife of James Finders, died at 10:50 Thursday morning at her home south of Ferguson of cancer of the stomach. She had been bedfast for eight weeks.
Mrs. Finders was born Suzanna E. Hilsabeck in Owen County, Indiana, February 24, 1849, and came with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elias Hilsabeck, to Ferguson in 1868. She was a mother of eleven children, ten of whom survive. They are C. A. of Amberg, Wisconsin; O. R. of Lake View; L. E. Finders and Mrs. Harvey Smith, Gilman; O. A., B. E., J. R., and R. R. Finders and Mrs. F. King, all of Ferguson, and Mrs. Rinner Gummert, of this city. Three sisters are living. They are Mrs. James Fortner, Sterling, Colorado, Mrs. Elizabeth Manning, Tacoma, Washington and Mrs. Lydia Hooven, Gilman.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 o’clock Sunday afternoon at the Christian Church at Ferguson. Rev. D. A. Helfenstein will be in charge and burial will be in the Ferguson Cemetery (article met Timber Creek Cemetery).
