STATE CENTER WOMAN DEAD

---Mrs. Arthur Poling, Formerly of Albion Passes Away---

Mrs. Ella Poling, wife of Arthur Poling, for many years a resident of Albion, who had lived at State Center the last year, died Friday at the latter place of gall bladder trouble. She underwent an operation early in the week. She had been in poor health several years but had been bedfast only a little more than two weeks. Mrs. Poling was born Ella Hopping, Aug. 31, 1866, in Jasper county. She was married Feb. 15, 1882 at Irwin. Three children were born to her, two of whom are living. They are, Mrs. Albert Jones, Wonewoe, Wis., and V. A. Poling, State Center. The funeral service will be held from the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran church, State Center, at 11 o’clock Sunday morning in charge of Rev. J. G. Oltman. Burial will be in the Bethel Grove cemetery.
