The funeral of Genevieve Bertha Fiscus was held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock from the Methodist church at Albion, following a brief prayer service at 12 o’clock conducted by Rev. W. H. Scott, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Fiscus, 115 South Ninth street, city. The services at Albion were in charge of Rev. W. M. Baker, of this city, assisted by Revs. W. H. Scott, city; H. C. Hurd, of Sheldon; H. C. Strong, of Altoona; and W. R. Foster, of Union. The flower bearers were Gladys Grace, Gladys Summerlot, Gladys McKibben and Dorothy Fiscus and the pall bearers Merle and Arthur Summerlot, Walter Nyce, Harold and Leland Fiscus, and James Hauser. Burial was in the Bethel Grove cemetery. Those at the funeral from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Weatherly, of Rock Rapids; Mrs. Elias Ames, of Irwin; Mrs. E. E. Densmore, of Prairie City; Mrs. Clarence McKibben, of Conrad; Mrs. M. H. Hon and daughter Cora, of Clemons and Miss Florence Speas , of Audubon.
