Liscomb Burial For Buchanan

LISCOMB --- (Special) --- Services for Ray Buchanan, 78, Hampton, a former Marshall County resident, will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, in Hampton, and at 3 p.m., with Masonic Graveside Rites at Liscomb Cemetery. Buchanan was a 1911 graduate of Liscomb High School. He is survived by his widow; sons Frederick and Harold, both of Hampton, and Ray Jr. of Rockford, Ill.; and daughters Mrs. Harry (Mary) Balvanz, Eldora, and Patricia, Rockford, Ill., as well as several grandchildren. Other survivors include three sisters, Lola, Beth and Helen Marie. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. Buchanan died Tuesday morning at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. The Vogel-Seitzman Funeral Home, Hampton, has charge of arrangements.
