Edna Evernden died February 5, 1982 in Marshalltown from breast cancer.
She was born on June 20, 1905 in Waterloo, IA, the daughter of John and Cornelia (Pedersen) Finley. She married Ivan Evernden and the couple lived for many years in Minnesota. They moved to Marshalltown for retirement in the mid-1970s.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. on February 9, 1982 at First United Presbyterian Chruch with Dr. Thomas Bower officiating.
Special music was provided by Virgil Haight and Mrs. Ronald Wickam.
Interment is in Bondurant Cemetery.
Pallbearers were nephews and friends Max Lande, John Hines, Michael Hines, Frank Dworzak, Jon Batesole and Gerry White.
