Delores Ann Conley, age 79, of Marshalltown, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at her home while under the care of Iowa River Hospice. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 6, at St. Henry Catholic Church. Memorials donations to honor Delores may be directed to Iowa River Hospice. Online condolences may be sent to the family at vogelfuneralhomes.com. Pursel Davis Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Delores was born March 21, 1929, in Green County, Iowa, the daughter of John W. and Helen Ann Tasler Minnehan. She graduated from Lohrville High School In Lohrville, Iowa and on June 4, 1949, Delores was united in marriage to Owen E. Conley in Churdan, Iowa. They moved to Marshalltown in September of 1957 and together, she and Owen owned and operated the Owen Conley Dental Lab in Marshalltown, retiring in 1988.
Delores loved to read and was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church.
Delores will be missed by her husband Owen, daughters Cecilia Conley of Santa Fe, NM, Margaret (Jeff) Edelnant of Reno NV, grandchildren, Jeff (Glee) Reynolds, Topaz Conley, Owen Thomas Conley, Ruth Elizabeth Conley, Jillian Edelnant, Vanessa Conley, Joshua Conley; great grandchildren, Cydney and Jaycee Reynolds, brothers, Philip (Rosemary) Minnehan of Churdan, Iowa, William Minnehan of Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Patrick (Mary Lynne) Minnehan of Hartsville, SC.
Delores is preceded in death by her sons, Gregory and Matthew Conley, sisters Beatrice Henning, Karen Wagner, and Marjorie Minnehan.
