Ann M. Eygabroad, age 87 of Marshalltown, passed away, Saturday, March 7, 2009, at the Israel Hospice House in Ames, IA. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 11, at Central Christian Church in Marshalltown with Pastor Gail Thiessen officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesdat at Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be directed to Israel Hospice House, 400 South Dakota Ave, Ames, Iowa 50014. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.vogelfuneralhomes.com. Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Ann was born September 23, 1921 in Galex,VA, the daughter of Otis and Viola Hawks Diamond. On September 21, 1940, Ann was united in marriage to Earl V. Eygabroad, Jr. in Marshalltown. Ann was a homemaker and loved dogs and birds. She was a member of Central Christian Church and participated in many ladies activities.
Ann will be missed by her children Sandra (Stephen) Andrews of Remer, MN, Kay Kingrey of Marshalltown, Mike (Kathy) Eygabroad of Camdenton, MO, Terry (Lynne) Eygabroad of Marshalltown; 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother
Ann is preceded in death by her husband, grandson, Joshua Eygabroad, 2 great grandchildren, Kaylynn Buckley, Emily Kingrey, and brother Ray Diamond.
