Norma Lee Beem, age 70 of Marshalltown, passed away, February 11, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Online condolences may be sent to the family at vogelfuneralhomes.com. Pursel Davis Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
Norma was born January 26, 1939 in Melbourne, Iowa, the daughter of Nolan and Gladys Luttrell Phillips. She graduated from Garwin High School and in July of 1963, she was united in marriage to David Beem in Marshalltown. They were later divorced. Norma was a homemaker who loved to read, draw and was an avid TV watcher.
Norma will be missed by her daughter Hannah (Chad) Weir, son, Adam (Jennifer) Beem, sister, Barbara Richards, all of Marshalltown, grandchildren, Tristan Weir, Jacob Mason, Mariah Mason, Makaela Beem, Makensie Beem, and Mackenna Beem. She was preceded in death by her parents.
