Janeen M. Betancourt, 58, of Garwin, died suddenly Friday, January 30, 2009, at MMSC. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at a future date. Visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family. Janeen Mae Breyfogle was born on December 19, 1950, in Sioux City, Iowa. She was the daughter of Lionel and Jane (Hetrick) Breyfogle. She attended school in Sioux City and Marathon. She also attended Iowa Central Community College. She had resided in Garwin since 1998. Janeen was a security guard for Securitas, working at Fisher Controls at the downtown location. She was a member of the Marshalltown Dart League. She enjoyed shopping, playing Bingo at Meskwaki Casino, carnivals, family get-togethers, and taking care of her family. Left to mourn her loss is her companion of more than 10 years, Delbert Flowers of Garwin; her daughter, Ofelia Dillingham of Garwin; her grandsons, Devin Dillingham, Daltin Dillingham, and her granddaughter due in March; her siblings, Mike(Bertha) Stille, Carolyn(Don)Babcock, Marsha Mowry of Rolfe, IA, William Breyfogle of Rusford, MN, and Sue Anne(Denes) Frank of Wall Lake, IA; her aunts, Susan(Arliss) Friedrich and Sally(Don) Caboth; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. In death, she has rejoined her son, Phillip Betancourt, her parents, Lionel and Jane Breyfogle, her grandparents, her brothers, Jon Stille and Charles Stille, and her brother-in-law, Richard Mowry.
