HARLEY STIPP TO WED

Former State Center Boy to Take Miss Fay, of Nevada, as Bride

A June wedding that will be of more than ordinary interest her will result in the marriage Mr. Harley H. Stipp, of Des Moines, and Miss Laura Fay, of Nevada. Both young people are known to many friends here, and both are graduates of Grinnell College. Mr. Stipp is the son of Mr. W. H. Stipp, of this city, and Miss Fay is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Fay, of Nevada. Mr. Stipp is especially well known at State Center, where he spent his boyhood. At present he is an attorney at Des Moines, a member of the firm of Bailey & Stipp. Mr. Stipp has risen rapidly in his profession since going to the capital city, and has become one of the best known of the younger attorneys here. He is a member of the County Hyperion, Grant and Commercial Clubs. After graduating at Grinnell, Mr. Stipp went to Harvard, where he graduated in law. His bride-to-be, who is equally popular among her many friends and associates, attended the National Park Seminary at Washington, D. C., after her graduation at Grinnell. Miss Fay has visited here several times as the guest of Misses Irma Wallace and Reba Whinerly, whom she met at Grinnell.

The wedding will take place the later part of June at the bride’s home.
