Nicholas Hakkert died at his home on Independence street at 3:00 p. m. Tuesday, April 20, 1920, aged 56 years. His death came suddenly as a result of a stroke of apoplexy. He is survived by his wife with whom he but recently moved to town from the Bethel neighborhood. Funeral Friday at 1:30 at the home and two o'clock at the Third Reformed church. Interment at Oakwood cemetery.
