Mary passed away October 27, 2011 at Griffin Nursing Home in Knoxville, at the age of 87. A private family service will be held at a later date. No visitation is planned. Memorials may be made to Melcher-Dallas Rescue Unit. Online condolences: www.pierschbacherfuneralhome.com
Mary is survived by her children: Linda Merjil, Jerry (Barb) Nichols, Gary Nichols all of California, and Craig (Deb) Spencer of Carlisle; step son, Harvey Spencer Jr. of Anamosa; brother, David Six of Wisconsin; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
